Leadership programmes to promote diversity

Aurora Women’s Leadership Development Programme

Aurora is a women only leadership development programme that encourages women in higher education to think of themselves as leaders and to develop leadership skills. If you are starting to think of moving into a leadership role, the programme offers an ideal opportunity for development.

A previous UoR delegate and has said ‘Aurora afforded me the opportunity to explore what kind of leader I wanted to be, and how capable I am of achieving this.’

The closing date for applications is noon on Friday 12 August 2022.

Diversifying Leadership Development Programme

The programme is aimed at early career academics and professional services colleagues from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, both UK and international (Non-UK).

Applicants for both programmes can be up to and including Associate Professor/ Grade 8, and about to take their first step into applying for a senior role – or aspiring to a leadership role.
