Unauthorised vehicles on Whiteknights Campus

The University is aware of an encampment on Whiteknights campus. A number of unauthorised vehicles, including cars and caravans, are parked on the playing fields off Shinfield Road.

We have asked the occupants to leave and are working with the relevant authorities.

SportsPark, Park Eat, Park House, Dolche Vita and RUSU buildings and venues, as well as Car Parks 1A and 7, have been closed and will remain so until further notice.

Academic buildings and facilities on Whiteknights Campus remain open to colleagues and students, but please note that all buildings will require key card access. Colleagues are reminded to refer to the security advice issued earlier this summer.

Our Security Team will be maintaining an increased presence on campus.
