Space moves – first moves this spring
05 April 2022
This spring sees the first moves take place as part of our need to ensure the University’s physical spaces work better for us as a whole community.
By changing the way we use our spaces, we can bring tenants into some of our campus buildings. This can bring dual benefits of closer collaboration with other organisations and increased income for the University. These moves will therefore contribute to the University’s strategic aims of financial sustainability and engaging with strategic partners.
The space moves are part of the Strategic Foundations Programme work to ensure we are getting the basics right. Colleagues in a range of Functions and Schools will be moving to new locations on the Whiteknights campus, including: Alumni and Supporter Engagement Office; Finance; Global Recruitment and Admissions; Henley Business School; Teaching and Learning Deans; and CQSD.
If you work with these teams, they will be in touch in due course with details of their new location and how to get in contact with them when they move.
There will be further changes to the way the university community uses space on our campuses in the future. The project team aims to balance the complex requirements of individuals, teams and the university community as a whole. We will continue to update colleagues on this as and when more information becomes available.
