Funding available for arts projects
08 April 2022
Colleagues can apply for funding from the Senate Committee for the Arts. The deadline is 17:00 on Wednesday 27 April ahead of the committee's next meeting in May.
The Committee promotes all aspects of the arts at the University. Recently, awards have been made in support of a variety of projects including literary magazines, choirs/musical ensembles, the display of art works on campus and a performance installation, as well as a wide range of events including talks by guest speakers and film screenings.
If you would like to make an application, further details can be found on the Arts Committee webpage. If you know of any colleagues or students who are looking for additional support for an arts related venture, please feel free to share this information with them.
In addition to the regular application route, the summer term meeting of the Arts Committee also welcomes applications for bursaries to enable students to work on arts-related collections. Applications should be made by the member of staff who would be responsible for supervising the work, and the (separate) form can be found on the Arts Committee webpage.
Completed applications should be submitted to Katie Smith (Secretary to the Arts Committee) by 17:00 on Wednesday 27 April. The Committee will meet on Thursday 12 May and applicants will be informed of the decision shortly afterwards.
