National Teaching Fellowship and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence - Expression of Interest Schemes open
20 September 2021
The Centre for Quality Support and Development (CQSD) is pleased to announce the launch of the National Teaching Fellowship (NTFS) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) Expression of Interest schemes. These are open from Monday 20 September for colleagues who wish to be considered as one of the University’s nominees for a National Teaching Fellowship or a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence in 2022.
The NTFS and CATE are prestigious national schemes run by Advance HE. The NTFS celebrates and rewards outstanding individual impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education, whilst the CATE scheme recognises and rewards collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning.
The University will select up to three nominees to go forward to the national NTF scheme and one team to go forward to the national CATE scheme this year. Nominees will then receive support from an appropriate mentor in preparing their submission to Advance HE.
The closing dates are as follows:
- NTF Expression of Interest scheme: 17:00 on Monday 25 October 2021
- CATE Expression of Interest scheme: 17:00 on Monday 1 November 2021.
