Teaching & Learning Festival – recordings now available
13 September 2021
The Centre for Quality Support and Development’s (CQSD) Teaching & Learning Festival took place last week, with sessions running from Tuesday-Thursday focusing on the event’s three themes:
- Learning design,
- Engaging students
- Supporting student academic transitions.
The event was well-attended, with over 150 colleagues from across the university attending at least one session.
If you missed any of the Festival, or would like to re-visit any of the sessions, recordings are now available on UoRLearn.
We would like a say a huge thank you to all those colleagues who attended and made the event such a positive and inspiring start to the academic year, and in particular to those who kindly contributed to the various workshops and showcases at such a busy time. Along with many contributors from the University, we were also delighted to welcome two external speakers to the event;
- Dr Tim Fawns (University of Edinburgh) opened the festival, speaking about Designing Online Teaching
- Dr Katharine Hubbard, National Teaching Fellow (University of Hull) closed the event on Thursday, talking about her work addressing the “Hidden Curriculum” in transitions to HE.
