Armistice Day services on 11 November
08 November 2021
Colleagues and students are invited to mark Armistice Day at a brief service of memorial, where we will remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country as well as students and staff who have passed away over the last year.
We will be hosting short services at each of our UK campuses on Thursday 11 November for those who wish to gather together to mark the occasion. These will be hosted by the University Chaplains and will be open to staff and students of all faiths and none.
You could join the most convenient location for you at 10:45am on Thursday 11 November. Ceremonies will be held as follows:
- London Road campus: Peace Garden
- Greenlands campus: Flagpole near the cattle grid
- Whiteknights campus: Rear flagpole (between the Library and Whiteknights House)
Colleagues teaching at this time are requested to be considerate of any students wishing to attend the services.
