Research Travel Grant Fund re-opening

The Research Travel Grant (RTG) Fund has been running for more than 15 years, established as part of the Research Endowment Trust (RET). The fund was set up to support researchers (both staff and doctoral students) with costs associated with the dissemination of research 'outcomes' at events and conferences. This includes costs towards registration fees as well as any associated travel and accommodation costs.

During the pandemic, the Fund has been closed whilst travel has been severely restricted and many conferences have been cancelled or postponed.  The RTG Sub-Committee is pleased to announce that the Fund is now formally re-opening and will include provision for online conferences, a direct response to changes in the way that work is disseminated by researchers. Applications are via a form and are considered on a rolling basis by the Sub-Committee.
