2020 Research Highlights published
03 June 2021
The Graduate School has just published its 2020 Research Highlights, which showcases the outstanding work our doctoral students have continued to produce despite the challenging circumstances of the last year.
The University has around 1,700 doctoral students, coming from over 100 countries and working across a breadth of disciplines.
The 2020 Highlights showcase just some of the wide-ranging topics they are working on – from soilless potatoes to learning in prison, and extreme weather such as killer heatwaves and monsoon flooding. You can also read about the origin of Stonehenge’s giant stones, as well as an interview with one of our PhD alumni, who is a former Olympic rower and now a business coach and consultant.

And don’t forget the 2021 Graduate School Doctoral Research Conference film will be available to view on Wednesday 16 June. Find out more and meet the four PhD Researcher of the Year finalists here: http://www.reading.ac.uk/graduateschool/events/gs-DoctoralResearchConference2021.aspx
