<!--[if !supportLists]-->What are we looking for?
The Research Deans play a critical leadership role in the implementation of our research and innovation strategy, the development of our research culture, the fostering of collaborations across disciplines, and the development of external partnerships. If you have a strong track record of leadership, a genuine interest in developing collaborative and sector-leading practices across our University and demonstrable experience of encouraging greater diversity and inclusion, we would encourage you to apply.
As we embark on implementing the new strategy, these roles require leadership that fosters a culture where colleagues feel valued, are encouraged to continue making positive contributions, are challenged when required, and provided opportunity and support to achieve their potential.
Our University is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce and receiving applications from the widest range of backgrounds will help us recruit a diverse and inclusive senior leadership.
Given the under-representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues in leadership roles, we are particularly keen to receive applications from these groups. We also welcome applications where a flexible working pattern and/or job-share is proposed.
All roles will be advertised internally only in the first instance. To find out more, including more details of the essential skills and experience required for the roles, please follow the link here.
