Teaching and Learning Festival, 7-9 September 2021
23 August 2021
The Centre for Quality, Support and Development (CQSD) are excited to announce details of our upcoming Teaching & Learning (T&L) Festival to help inspire and support you as you prepare to teach in the forthcoming academic year.
T&L FESTIVAL: Design, Engagement, Transition – Preparing for the new academic year
The event will take place from Tuesday 7 September – Thursday 9 September, with sessions running online each day in line with the event’s three themes:
- Learning design
- Engaging students
- Supporting student academic transitions.
We are delighted to have two external speakers joining us. Dr Tim Fawns (University of Edinburgh) will open the festival, speaking about Designing Online Teaching and Dr Katharine Hubbard, NTF (University of Hull) will close the event, talking about her work addressing the “Hidden Curriculum” in transitions to HE.
With a number of new and repeat sessions and showcases, we hope it will be an interesting and inspiring few days.
