University renews partnership with Cambridge Education Group
10 August 2021
Our University has renewed its partnership with ONCAMPUS, the university pathway division of Cambridge Education Group (CEG). The renewed partnership will see ONCAMPUS begin to deliver Foundation programmes for international students who are looking to progress onto undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at Henley Business School and other Business and Economics programmes.
ONCAMPUS programmes will be delivered alongside our existing International Foundation Programme – run by colleagues in the International Study and Language Institute (ISLI) – and the integrated four-year programmes providing students with a range of options to suit their needs.
Foundation programmes play an important role in providing international students with the knowledge, academic training, language, skills and confidence for their degree-level study in the UK.
Partnership with CEG
The partnership with CEG was established in 2017 to support the progression of international students to a range of degrees in Art, Design and Communication.
The renewal of the partnership with CEG is an exciting development for the University and will enhance our global reach and attract outstanding students from across the world.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) Paul Inman says, “The University of Reading is committed to engaging in strategic partnership work with leading players in all aspects of its educational mission. The Cambridge Education Group has an international presence and shares our desire to offer an excellent engaged experience for students wherever in the world they live.”
ONCAMPUS is a leading provider of pathways for international students with 12 centres across the UK, Europe and the USA.
Brendan Webb, co-CEO of Cambridge Education Group says; “The renewal of our partnership with the University of Reading and Henley Business School expresses a shared ambition to offer more exceptional choices to the next generation of global business leaders and we look forward to developing further opportunities for international students in the years to come.”
Colleagues at ISLI, which also has a Business pathway, will continue to deliver this in the 2021-22 academic year and the International Foundation Programme at University of Reading Malaysia will also continue as normal.
