Briefing on the Teaching & Learning Framework
30 April 2021
Thank you to colleagues who attended the briefing session on the Teaching & Learning Framework for 2021/22 on Wednesday 28 April. A recording of the session is shared below and colleagues can read the Framework is also published on the Staff Portal.
Professor Dominik Zaum (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research & Innovation) introduced the session with an update on the impact of the pandemic on research, and work under way to address the shift in focus from research to teaching in response to the pandemic, which has impacted many colleagues.
Professor Katja Strohfeldt (Teaching & Learning Dean) and Professor Julian Park (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education & Student Experience), who have led this work with the Teaching & Learning Delivery Group, provided a summary of the context and principles of the Framework.
Colleagues asked a number of questions, only some of which we were able to put to the panel. We shared all the questions with Katja Strohfeldt and Julian Park, who have responded to the key themes raised.
You can also access the video directly on Microsoft Stream.
In the coming weeks we will be sharing our plans for next year with continuing students and 2021 applicants. We will keep colleagues updated on this and ask that you please do not share the information before this has happened.
