More events focusing on disability and neurodiversity
16 April 2021
In addition to our focus group sessions on disability and neurodiversity, we have two additional events coming up that explore different aspects of disability, from research to being an ally. All are welcome to attend.

There will be a further showcase event in May. In June, we will have a live panel event as part of the Disability and Neurodiversity Review, which you can find out more about the story ‘Disability and Neurodiversity Review - what's the plan?'.
Staff Disability Network: Introducing Purple Space
On 5 May 2021, representatives of the global network Purple Space will present an online introduction to their services and resources - all colleagues are invited to attend.
Purple Space is the organisation behind the annual Purple Light Up celebration. It is a well-known networking and professional development hub for disabled employees and allies from all sectors and trades.
As a member of Purple Space, the University has access to its wide range of resources and services. The event will highlight how we can all access these resources and promote disability awareness within our own areas or work. The session has been arranged by the Staff Disability Network as pat of their ‘digital takeover' events.
The session will take place online on 5 May 2021, 13:00-14:00. Please book your place online - once you have registered, you will be sent a joining link on 3 May 2021.
