Event Information
The Women’s Health Café, hosted by Women@Reading, is back.
Our online events this year will be dedicated to a particular topic, allowing participants to explore a particular women's health issue in more depth. This month's event will focus on experiences of breast cancer: including diagnosis, treatment and how to maintain wellbeing and resilience.
We'll be joined by Nazanin Derakhshan, Professor of Experimental Psychopathology and Founder and Director of the Centre for Building Resilience in Breast Cancer (BRiC).
The café is primarily aimed at women, however other members of the University community are also welcome to come along to develop their awareness of women’s health topics, how they may impact women in the workplace and to enable the café community to be there for those who may be supporting a partner, family member, friend and/or work colleague with a particular health-related event.
