Event Information
For the October session of the “My Climate Risk Interdisciplinary Learning Group” (MCRILG), we are delighted to be joined by Professor David Stainforth, Professorial Research Fellow in the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics, and an Honorary Professor in the Physics Department at the University of Warwick.
David’s research focuses on climate science and its relationship with climate economics and policy. He focuses particularly on uncertainty analysis and on how academic assessments can better support decision-making in the context of climate change. His new book, Predicting Our Climate Future, has recently been published by Oxford University Press.
David will draw on his extensive research as he discusses two research papers: Issues in the interpretation of climate model ensembles to inform decisions and Tales of future weather.
See the Walker Institute October MCRILG session webpage for the Zoom link.
If you would like to receive calendar invitations with the Zoom link the Friday prior to each session, you can become a member of our MCRILG community by registering using the form on our website.
