Join the Schools of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy for an afternoon of celebration of LGBTQIA+ people working in STEM fields and sharing of lived experiences.
The International Day of LGBTQIA+ people in STEM celebrates the work of LGBTQIA+ people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The Day also shines a light on barriers experienced by LGBTQIA+ people in these fields in order to challenge and dismantle these to make the STEM subjects more inclusive.

In addition to the talks, we’re also hosting a poster exhibition to shine a spotlight on the wide-ranging scientific contributions from across the University.
