The role of education in developing action on climate change

This talk will focus on the idea that “education is the most transformational climate adaptation action”  (Stefania Giannini, Assistant-Director General for Education, UNESCO 2021).

The case study, Institute of Education initial teacher education framework for climate and sustainability education, will be shared and discussed.

It will highlight the importance of collaboration, pedagogical requirements and leadership.
