Apprenticeships drop-in session

Staff are invited to drop in via Teams at any point during the hour to find out more about apprenticeships and how they can support staff development and recruitment.

The UoR Apprenticeships Coordinator will be there to answer any questions you may have about apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships offer fantastic development opportunities for existing University staff. Working towards an apprenticeship will lead to you mastering new, or higher-level skills, related to your job. Staff of any age and grade can gain additional professional qualifications that support the role they are performing.

Managers can also recruit an apprentice into their teams – apprenticeships allow new staff to gain intensive, vocational training on the job, and gain qualifications to enable career progression.

Advertising a new role as an Apprentice role allows an increase and greater diversity of applications, as applicants are able to gain required experience and qualifications on the job!
