LGBTQIA+ Research Showcase

From psychology to film and theatre, we take a look at the work of researchers from the University of Reading that centre the experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community this LGBT+ History Month.

Ellie Benford will present the project “From labelling LGBT+ a ‘mental disorder’ to supporting the community: The changing attitudes of Psychology” and Gabbi Wallace’s research examines trans representation in testimonial performance and digital film.

The session will be Chaired by LGBTQIA+ Staff Network Co-Chair, Tahlia-Rose Virdee.
