This online information session is for managers who would like to find out more about hiring an apprentice.

You will learn how to recruit an apprentice into your team and what are the benefits. This is your opportunity to ask the UoR Apprenticeships Coordinator and a current apprentice line manager your questions.

The session will cover:

• Understand what an apprenticeship is.
• Learn how recruiting an apprentice works at the University.
• Discover reasons for and benefits of hiring an apprentice in your team.
• Find out about some available apprenticeships, such as the Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.
• Hear from a UoR line manager with an apprentice in their team, and learn about their experiences.
• Understand the first steps for you to take to recruit an apprentice.
