Human-in-the-loop - Edith Morley Seminar

Lucy Yu, CEO of the Centre for Net Zero at Octopus Energy, will present the Annual Distinguished Edith Morley Seminar, organised by the School of Mathematical, Physical & Computational Sciences.

The lecture will explore the use of technology and field trials to write the rules of a new people-centred future energy system.

Lucy has nearly two decades of experience building tech ventures and developing tech policy and regulation for governments around the world. Her work has focused on sustainability and renewable energy; future mobility and the built environment; artificial intelligence; open data and open source; regulating high risk technologies; and the social impact of disruptive technology.
