Event Information
What is Diversity & Inclusion Community of Interest?
Colleagues have said that they would like a dedicated space to discuss D&I considerations within Teaching and Learning. This will include the awarding gap, decolonising the curriculum, and creating inclusive T&L settings. The Diversity & Inclusion Community of Interest (CoI) group will be co-chaired by the Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, Al Laville and Associate Professor at the Institute of Education, Billy Wong.
Details of the event
At its first meeting in June, the CoI will hear from Dr Eileen Hyder, Academic Developer in the Centre for Quality Support & Development (CQSD), on key themes in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in teaching and learning and their potential future direction. The event will also offer space for networking for colleagues who are interested in this work.
If you would like to come along to participate in the meeting, please email diversity@reading.ac.uk with any access and dietary requirements information.
If you would like to join the D&I CoI formally, please send an expression of interest to diversity@reading.ac.uk by 1 June.
