At Reading, we are committed to creating a safe, fun and respectful environment where we can all thrive in a community where we all look out for one another. 

In accordance with this commitment it is mandatory for all new students to undertake the tackling harassment training.  The course content will empower you with the skills and knowledge to prevent, identify, and respond to harassment, hate and sexual misconduct.  By taking the course you are contributing to a more respectful environment for everyone within the university community.

The Tackling Harassment and Consent Matters training courses are mandatory and we expect all new students to complete this course before arriving on campus at the start of the academic year.  

To access and complete the training: 

1. Register directly on the Epigeum platform, following our instructions below.  
2. You should be completing this course before enrolment, so please use your personal email to register.  You will only need to register once to access both courses. If you are completing this after arrival please use your university email address. 
3. Enter your Reading ID Number in the 'Institution specific field'. 
4. Enter e0d0659c in the token box. This allows you to access the training courses for free. You do not need to pay.  
5. Complete your registration and activate your account by clicking the link sent to your university email address.  
6. Log into the Epigeum platform. Under ‘My Courses’ you will find the required training. Please complete ‘Tackling Harassment and Sexual Misconduct’ first.  
7. If you have any problems accessing the training please contact Epigeum directly.  
8. Retain your completion certificates for your own records 

If you have enrolled and are yet to complete the courses, please do so at your earliest convenience.

International students travelling to Reading may be unable to access the training in your current location, we recommend completing it soon after arriving in the UK.
