Selecting your optional modules
- Log into RISIS.
- Select 'What to do next' option.
- Select the 'module selection' button which will show the modules available to select on your programme.
- Follow the instructions and ensure you review and submit your module selections.
- Ensure you submit your module choices in line with the deadlines for selection
What to do if you have missed the deadline
If you have not been able to submit your module choices by the given deadlines or need to make changes, please follow these instructions...
- Check to see what optional modules are available on your programme of study. You can find the list of optional modules by logging into RISIS and selecting the 'information' tab, then 'Programmes and Modules' and 'Your module selection information'
- View information about modules: Module Descriptions. You can discuss your module choice with your Academic Tutor
- Review your available optional modules from the list on RISIS noting the module code and title and submit your choice via Ask A Question. Please make sure that you follow any of the pre or co-requisites for any module you have selected, as well as your specific programme requirements: Programme Specifications.
- Check your timetable (if available) to make sure there are no timetable clashes for your selected modules.
- Submit your options and discuss via Ask a Question.
- The module selection teams will process your request and confirm that your selection has been added to RISIS. Please check Ask a Question for confirmation of your choices.
