Thrive Mentoring

Connect with a professional mentor and talk through your career plans and aspirations.

Are you an undergraduate or taught postgraduate looking to connect with a professional in an industry you’re interested in? Thrive Mentoring can support you connect with a mentor in an industry of your choice, who can offer you personalised, 1-to-1 support in your career plans and share advice and guidance from their career journey.

Thrive Mentoring:

  • is open to all undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, excluding students from Henley Business School
  • can be completed more than once, as long as you are a student at the University
  • is flexible and adaptable around your university schedule
  • is facilitated on a dedicated platform, where you can access our mentors and connect with one of them
  • recognises your mentoring experience with a completion certificate.

How do I join?

  1. Attend a mandatory Thrive Preparation Session, which are bookable on MyJobsOnline and run from 10 September to 10 December 2025.

  2. Join the Thrive Mentoring Pathway on MyJobsOnline to complete your registration. You will not gain access to this unless you have attended a preparation session.

  3. Submit your mentoring goals and preferences on the Pathway.

  4. Once approved by the Thrive team, you will gain access to the registration link to our dedicated Thrive platform, where you can access our mentors.
