Accreditation
The BA Accounting (Beijing Institute of Technology) has been accredited directly by two professional accountancy bodies:
- the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
You'll also have the opportunity to apply for credit for prior learning from professional bodies, including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
This flexible degree allows you to tailor your studies and shape your degree in line with your interests.
You'll gain a strong understanding of core accounting theory and develop practical application and analysis skills.
The management aspect of the degree teaches you the basic principles of a company's external environments, such as markets, marketing, and strategy.
In addition to 17 compulsory degree-level modules, you must complete three compulsory non-credit-bearing foundation modules in the first year.
There are also several additional requirements, as stipulated by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), that are compulsory and credit-bearing to achieve the BIT BSc Management award. These additional elements are outlined in the BIT BSc Management programme specification and are separate from the University of Reading qualification.
