Callmy Alert | IOS or Android | Stay up to date on important safety and security issues around campus with the Callmy Alert app. After installation there is a simple verification process to follow and you’ll need to add the group name UoRalert |
BikeRegister | Android | The app allows you to set up a BikeRegister account, register the details of your bike and upload images. There are over 900,000 bikes registered on the secure database. The features of the BikeRegister app include: checking a cycle serial or frame number to see if a bike is stolen; registering bikes on the database; and viewing videos on how to mark and register cycles. |
MyWay | IOS or Android | The MyWay App is a fantastic safety app to make sure you feel safe walking to and from lectures, back from Student Union nights, and to sports training sessions throughout your time at Reading. The app has some super handy features including: Automatic SMS text to an emergency contact to let them know you’re home safe. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide. You are only a few taps away from crisis support if you need it. Self-help App for the Mind (SAM) |
