Action: Complete the (STEP 1) Expression of Interest process (Deadline: Sunday 8 March 2026)

Formal Registration emails sent including specific date and time of your ceremony by Friday 10 April 2026

Action: Check for and clear any outstanding debts (Deadline: Friday 1 May 2026)
Action: Complete the (STEP 2) Formal Registration process (Deadline: Monday 4 May 2026) During Formal Registration, check how your name will appear on your certificate and request a name change if required. In addition, inform us of any disability, mobility or any other accessibility concerns about your ceremony. Wheelchair spaces must be booked in advance
Action: International students only: After completing Formal Registration, request visa support letter if required
Action: (STEP 3) Hire your academic dress (cap, hood and gown) (Deadline: Sunday 31 May 2026)

All final results including decisions on accepting exit awards must be submitted by Schools to the Exams Office no later than 12.00pm on Monday 15 June 2026
Publication of provisional results for finalists (UG and PG) by 3.00pm on Monday 29 June 2026
Action: Download and save any files on your student account (Access is lost after graduation) (Recommended Deadline: Monday 29 June 2026)
PGR students only: Examiners' confirmation of final Postgraduate Research award results (i.e. after sitting viva, completing any specified corrections and everything being signed off by your examiners) must be submitted to the Doctoral Examinations Officer by 3.00pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026 (PGR Students)

Post Results Exceptional Circumstances (PREC) deadline for finalists (UG and PG) (Deadline: Friday 3 July 2026)
Action: PGR students only: Submit your PGR electronic thesis to via the CentAUR system (centaur@reading.ac.uk) (Deadline: By 4.00pm on Monday 6 July 2026)
Publication of confirmed results for finalists (UG and PG) by 3.00pm on Friday 10 July 2026
Appeal Submission deadline (Deadline: 3.00pm on Friday 17 July 2026)
Graduation Ceremonies: Wednesday 22 - Thursday 30 July 2026 (not including weekend)
