Neuro Natters

A podcast supporting neurodiverse students through their university journey

Neuro Natters is a podcast created by and for neurodivergent students (and staff) at the University of Reading. Through honest conversations, personal experiences and practical advice, the podcast aims to explore the realities of university life for neurodivergent students, celebrate different ways of thinking and learning, and help foster a more inclusive university community.

The project was led by Rhiannon Jarvie-Morris and has involved students and staff across Institute of Education and the Disability Advisory Service. Rhiannon also features on the podcast, sharing her own lived experience of navigating university life with ADHD.

When speaking about her driving force for creating the podcast, Rhiannon said "Neuro Natters, was created to give neurodivergent students a platform to share their experiences, challenges and successes in an authentic and supportive way. We really hope the podcast will help students feel seen, understood and connected, while also crucially raising awareness and understanding of neurodiversity across the wider university community."

Episodes are hosted on the UoR Student YouTube channel.
