Have something to share with students?

Tell us about the news and events in your area so we can share with our student community.

Submit your stories to advertise on Me@Reading and the student app.

Please note: we cannot guarantee sharing urgent or last minute requests and recommend a minimum of at least one working week's notice.

Have a question?

The Student Communications team are available to discuss any updates you have to share with students or any other communication questions.

Our channels and how to submit your news and events:

The Student Life blog shares articles written by students and staff alongside important news and advice.

How to submit: please email your blog copy and any graphics through to studentcomms@reading.ac.uk.

The Student Life blog

We control big screen outside on the Carrington building, and the Palmer reception screens and can add your information/graphics to either of these.

How to submit: please send your graphic(s) to studentcomms@reading.ac.uk in the dimensions 1920 x 1080 and avoid designs with excessive or small text as it will not display well on the screen. Simple designs, with clear, accessible, large text are best. Note: QR codes are not suitable for this.

The student website is not a communications channel, but a digital handbook of the most important information for students.

How to amend content: If you need to update a page that is related to your department/if you're a content owner: please send your updates through to studentcomms@reading.ac.uk and include a link to the page you would like updating.
