Late Special Arrangements Approved

If you have special arrangements that were approved or updated during the creation of the exam timetable, the location of your in-person exam as shown on your timetable may no longer be correct. If the location has changed you will have received an email from our Special Arrangements examination team, confirming your new details. If you are unsure whether your exam location has changed, please contact examinations@reading.ac.uk.

Your room and seat number is not listed on your RISIS timetable as you will be in a different seat for each exam and so you must always check the lists when you arrive at the venue.

Your specific room and seat number will be displayed, each day, on a large white board outside/in the entrance of your assigned exam venue.

Larger modules may also be split across multiple venues so check carefully and do not assume that you are in the same venue as a friend or classmate.

You should arrive at your venue in enough time to check this information carefully before the start of your exam as you must sit in the correct seat in the correct room.

If you have trouble locating your seat, please speak with one of the invigilators at the venue who can help you with this.

All the campuses are within walking distance of each other, or a short taxi ride away.  There are also buses that go between the campuses. Check out the local bus timetables for more information.

There is no parking for students on any campus, unless you already have a university parking permit.

It is important leave plenty of time to get to your exam venues, especially if you are commuting as if you arrive late, you may not be permitted to sit the exam.  See the Day before and day of exams page.
