Explore Creative Careers

26 - 28 February 2024

Explore Creative Careers

The creative industries are all around us. They can be seen in the clothes we wear, the buildings we live and work in, the music we listen to, the books we read, the adverts on our screens, the apps we use and in countless other places. When you take a good look, the creative industries show up everywhere in our daily lives and the world would be a very different place without them!

The sector contains many rewarding areas of work and could take you into industries you’d never thought you’d work in. Roles in this sector are wide ranging. From freelance opportunities in both FTT (film, television and theatre) and Healthcare, to positions in production or publishing companies large and small. All provide the opportunity to use your creative flair, to help and support others, and your ability to influence and communicate effectively across media and broadcasting channels.

To help you start to explore this varied sector and gain insight into the career paths of both “young” and established professionals, we are excited to welcome you to join us and our guests for the Explore Creative Careers week.
