Support available to you when living off campus
If you are living off campus in private or shared accommodation, support is available to you from University. Our Community Teams and Reading Students’ Union Advice Teams are here to help you settle in, connect with your local community, and make the most out of your time living in private accommodation.
Reading Students’ Union Advice Team
If you are living in private accommodation, and have any questions or worries relating to housing, the Reading Students' Union Housing Advice Service provide a free confidential advice service. You can find advice for living in private accommodation on the Reading Students' Union website. If you'd like to get in contact with the team, complete the online form to book an appointment.
The University’s Community Engagement Team
The community team at the University of Reading are small but mighty. There are many staff across different departments at the University that work with the local community. If you have any questions, not sure where to go for support, or have any ideas you'd like to share with the team, please email the Community Engagement Team: community@reading.ac.uk.
You can also report issues online via reportandsupport.reading.ac.uk and receive support from the University or you can report anonymously.
